1st win of the Season against KMC Eagles 4:3

Midinghters kept the one goal advantage

In the first Homematch at Mainz icerink

tow old rivals met. The US Army Team of KMC Eagles was again guest in Mainz icerink this season. After the first few minutes it was clear that the team has changed since the last duel. During last seasons match it was no big deal to win on homeice but this time both team were fighting on equal level.

Coach Hausi managed to form powerfull 4 lines out of the 20 players which showed up for the match. Because of the quick linechanges the Midnighters performed, all players had a good icetime.

After some nervous behaviour at the beginning the match turned out to be on solid level and always fair. To mention is Dennis Scheele, who was assisting playing coach Hausi on the bench and before match rode his Zamboni second to none as usual to prepare the winning ice.
